So I have finally decided to build a single vessel 5 gallon eBIAB and I really like the simplicity of your AiONE controller.  As I am in New Zealand and we have 230v supply I am wondering how to modify components and wiring for this supply.  Also, only looking to control one pump.  Controller will need to switch from controlling mash (recirc with pump) and boil.  I am thinking to only use a 2400W element which should be ample for 5 gallon batches.

Would really appreciate any thoughts on how to modify you AiONE to achieve the above.

Cheers

Ben

Hi Ben,

That will be pretty easy as you have only one hot and one neutral wire. Make sure that all components are rated 240V. Try to adapt the wire diagram and feel free to send me a sketch, I will help where I can.

You can also check out this post to get some ideas.

I would go with as much wattage as possible. I find that 5500 watts is just good enough for 5 gallon batches.

Rgs,
