1-1/2" Step Drill Bit Source

Where did you get your 1-1/2" step drill bit from for cheap?  Largest common size I am seeing for a cheap price is 1-3/8".

I'm in Canada and got it from Canadian Tire. I guess you can find that at Home Depot or Lowes.

Came here to ask the same question. I have a cheapo one from Princess Auto that only goes to 1 3/8" and also doesn't cut for shite. Arg.

Blew up my drill but my step-father and I managed to get it through the box. I'll have to play with this particular box a bit to make sure it seats itself well, as there are some recessed areas around the rear. I filed it down manually to try to make sure the o-ring can sit nicely, but we shall see.

In retrospect, I should have perhaps gone with a different box. For the next kettle I may do just that!
